Oktoberfest-World’s Biggest Party Anyone?

Oktoberfest is something that everyone wants to go to and this year Bus2alps will have 4 Oktoberfest options. The Festival starts on Saturday September 19 and goes for 3 weekends. We don’t do a trip on the first weekend as it doesn’t start until Saturday at midday. Our trips depart 8pm Thursday September 24 and October 1 from Rome and midnight from Florence. We arrive approx 8am Friday morning (students don’t need to get accommodation for Thursday night). We then depart at 2pm on Sunday for the return journey.

This year Bus2alps will have 4 Oktoberfest options from Italy.

Bus plus 2 nights accommodation at Wombats Hostel, The Best in Munich. This will sell out very quickly. Prices are currently 349 Euro per person.
Bus plus 2 nights camping with 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner included. Camping is in 2 person tents with mattress and sleeping bag. There are onsite showers and bar. Prices are currently 269 Euro per person.
Transport only. For students that have already booked Oktoberfest accommodation or book expensive ‘what ever is left’ hotel rooms when they get here. 130 Euro from Florence and 145 Euro from Rome.
Prague and Oktoberfest all in one weekend. This will be very popular due to the price. We do a regular Prague weekend but leave Prague at 7am Sunday morning and stop in Munich for 4 hours on Sunday afternoon. Prices range from 139 Euro-289 Euro.

Last year Oktoberfest was the biggest in history with over 8 million liters of beer consumed. Bus2alps was started in February 2003 after a train strike in Italy left students stuck in Florence and unable to reach Interlaken one weekend. Over the years it has grown a a rate of double plus every year as far as student numbers go and also the number of destinations and start cities as we have reacted to student demand. To give you an idea of numbers, since the beginning of January we have had 1100 trips booked by students in Florence, Rome, Prague, Milan, Barcelona and Paris.
